Extra Extra…

The Oregon Film and Video Office has put out an "all crafts call". In other words they are looking for location personnel to staff out the shoot. This means they are looking for camera people, and possibly extras among other things.

I am so happy! I live in Oregon! Now I just need to become an extra in the movie. Although getting around school stuff to do it will be a little difficult. Oh well. It’s the Twilight movie so… I don’t care about all the make up work there will be. Now I just need to convince my parents…
wow that would be so cool to be an extra! but yea it might ruin some of the movie. i cant wait! good luck to those of you who audition! maybe ill see you on the big screen
Did anyone notice the word “possibly”? It’s not certain that they’re hiring extras. So hold on to your hats, people, or disappointment is imminent.
where do you get resumes? i’m in washington (not DC) and i am desperate to get in. this book like, gives me reason to live pratically! i’m not even kidding. so..

I so want to send my ressume! I really wanted the part of Angela, but an extra’s fantastic too! I don’t think I’ll get in, but I can say I tried. Anyway, this is kinda off-topic but does anyone know if they’ve chosen an Angela yet?

you have 2 options about resumes: usually you pay someone to type it for you but that’s a lot of swag. so i had my friend type it for me. here’s what you need
name
age
address
phone numbers
previous work you’ve done (tv, movie, theatre be sure to include where it was who you were and when it was)
any talents (sports you play, instruments etc)
training you’ve had

Oh wow, i love being on the Oregon border :] i so want to be an extra. IM THERE.
I love seeing all different people replying from all over the world with one common interest. tihs site is the BEST! I live in KY right now (not by choice) but my home town isn’t far from the OR/CA border. It is SUCH beautiful country up there. I think I agree with others about not wanting to spoil the overall outcome of the movie by staring in it. I’m all about the element of suprise.
We should most definately know about the rest of the cast. What would it hurt to bring those other actors/actresses into the public eye???
Another awesome Twilight song for Taking Back Sunday fans is on the “Louder Now” album song 3 “MakeDamnSure”. Check it if you don’t know it. So very appropriate for the Edward/Bella Lion/Lamb conflict that eventually…..well we all know!

Another question: Does anyone know how old you have to be to audition? I’m 13 and I don’t know where they would need a 13 year old in the movie… regardless, I’m still going to send in my resume.

I would guess that you could still audition/apply/whatever ti is they are doing to get extras but tha tyou will need your parents permission to participate. After all, you are a minor. But minors do this kind of thing all the time. They need people in the highschool after all, walking around, that kind of thing. The people in movies you don’t normally notice but you notice if they aren’t there. If that makes sense. I’m going to bed now.

and even though the thought of being in the movie never occured to me as im not either an actress or in america, that fact that it could have been a possible option under certain circumstances and that its just sitting there, waiting for people to apply.. KILLS ME!
