I love that they’re using real Forks locations. That community deserves some kudos and hopefully some economic boost from the the film.
I second that nissanmama. I’m really glad that they’re actually filming in Forks, it’ll help keep the authienticity (sp?). I have to say I wish I lived in Forks, getting to see a behind the scenes look at the movie, would be amazing.

I think it’s a REALLY good sign that Summitt Entertainment is going to use acutal Forks locations, to me, that means they want to do this movie right. They have the most amazing opportunity to create a cult classic if not a blockbuster and now that they’ve put some serious thought into the actors/actresses and now location I’m more excited than ever that they are going to create something amazing for us to enjoy.

That is so great!
I mean, that they’re filming in the actual locations, like the highschool, and not just setting up a classroom in a studio somewhere. They’re really going for this.
That’s somewhat promising. I hope they stay true to Stephenie’s story. I know that everything from the books will not necessarily make it into the movie, but I hope they don’t do like with Harry Potter and change and add to the story. I can’t wait to see who gets to be THE CULLENS….
I’m so excited for the movie. I think Summit will stick very close to the book’s plot rather than play it up for more drama (but what is more dramatic than vampires? :]) I can’t wait to see the Cullen’s house!

I’m so happy they’re going to film the movie in Forks so the movie is a close to the book as possible..but Portland!! Noooo, I live in Vancouver and i was so psyched on having it filmed here!!

I wish I lived in forks or was in the movie but I just want then to make it GOOD I don’t wanna be disapointed when I walk out of the theater after watching it. I mean I know they picked the rong actress for bella becuse she dosent look right at ALL but I just wanna watch the movie I can’t wait!
