Breaking Dawn Status According to Stephenie

"There is no official release date for Breaking Dawn, and for a very good reason: I haven’t finished it yet. Now that I’m (mostly) done with running around the world to promote Eclipse, I can settle in and work on BD. However, you never know how long it will take. I have roughly 1/3 – 1/4 left to write, and that could take a while.
Another thing–BD would not come out on a Sunday. Tuesday is usually the day things are released. Another point is that I wouldn’t do a live morning show on Sunday, and they’re going to want me to do that.
So don’t circle the tenth of August on your calendar or make a cool counter yet. I’ll let you know when there is an official date."

I’m wondering if it’s likely stores will do release parties ala Harry Potter? Am I better off just pre-ordering it when it becomes available to do so?

i love your books….but there something wrong..i keep miss spelling your name but i’m sure i’ll pass…..anyway!i made a site and it’s off of your books Stephenie…..and my friend and i are writing a book because of you!it’s got vampires and werewolves and one named kiria(base off of me)she gets bit by both you loves….and is half vampire and half werewolf and her best friend ali(my friend)and peter her bf live with her sents kiria was 4 and took care of her but never hurt her and luke and issac (the two loves) are trapped in a land with two moons one the normal and the other is an eclipes like moon blood red and is behind the first moon well on my site i need more member but that’s ok i hope we get the book pubblished……and the books call “Night thought Their Eyes”

It should be released on the 13th…you know, like, the wedding night. hehe that would be so cool ^^ but if it came out on a Sunday I would be able to get it during the day–I wouldn’t have to wait for my parents to get home to drive me to Barnes and Noble.

Hey, if you are looking for a really good book to help you through “Twilight Withdrawal” then you could look at Scott Westerfeld, Tamora Pierce, Mercedes Lackey, Anne Rice.

I really liked the series! It was really amazing. I read your books in one week and I started a month ago and I read the series again(3 times)! Your books are really fascinating.

by the way, stephenie, you inspired me. only a week after i read twilight, i started wrighting my own story kind of like it. i didn’t get far on it, but it’s about a girl, a mexican, who moves to montana or something. i think it was oregan. anyway, a boy, sitting with 3 other boys and 2 girls wouldn’t stop looking at her. she sees him, he sees her, it’s love at first sight..they think. so he comes over and says hi. they talk, but the next day, he pretends shee’s not there. she gets hurt, but he won’t listen, sort of like edward. that’s all i have so far, but i just want to say, yuo and your books are truly amazing!

i can’t believe it! so far away. How am i supposed to survive? All i’ve got to hope for is that her other book will make it to Australia, just so that i can stay ’sane’ for a couple of months. Argh! Though i am trying – unsuccessfully, might i add – to be patient, it’s not exactly working. *sigh* My sister banned me from reading because she thinks that i like to think, whatever! I’ve already tried to comprehensively ‘read between the lines’ for every possible event, but i know that will never work. I’ll try and be patient because i know that it will be fantastic – not that that even begins to cover it – , *sigh* if only i could be patient.
Seriously though, reading Twilight 25 times, New Moon 15 and Eclipse 5 times – and still counting! well, sort of – can’t be healthy for me.
I can’t wait! Though, then again being somewhat emotionally connected to a book doesn’t always help with trying to be patient!
Oh well, as long as it comes out, i’ll be fine. I could babble on for so much longer so i’ll stop now, just so you can all stay sane, and not become borderline insane – though my sister thinks that i’ve already crossed that line – like me.

I was so hoping lol. Guess i will just have to read more of my other books lol (i reread my boks SO much lol). the Temeraire series is a great set of four books if you are looking for something to help with the waiting.

OOOO Im sooooooooo excited!!!!!! I cant wait!. I think when the last book comes out I will truly miss Edward and Bella and the cullens and every one. I think I will be in a state of mourning for a while. any one else feel as I do?
Wow i cant believe all this eclipse stuff is taking time away from her writing…i think she shouldve done a few events after eclipse was released and focused on getting the 4th down, and then when she was finished with her part on Breaking Dawn, then she couldve done the whole around-the-world tour after…it’s not like her fans are going anywhere! lol. i think that would’ve been the more ideal scenario, but too late. lol. Of, course this is no offense to Stephenie, or anyone involved with her tours, and probably anyone who got to meet Stephenie will disagree, but this is just what i think. No harm done.
Darn! I already circled it and wrote all over my Twilight Sereies Folders And Note Books (yeah… obsessed muck… lol) August 10th!!!! oh well.

ok. Its good that it’s not coming out on Sunday but its bad because we don’t know when it’s going 2 come out.
I can’t wait till the first chapter goes up for preview. Only then will my anxious state go down, just a little bit.
