Alphie and I just recorded our latest Forks-Cast. For you newcomers that’s the Lexicon’s version of a podcast.
Two words of warning before you download it:
- It’s a long cast, around an hour, so it is going to take awhile(15 mins DSL) to download.
- The recording includes spoilers for Deathly Hallows and Eclipse, so if you haven’t read those books yet, we warned you ahead of time.
Also since we have been getting a bunch of questions,there has been some technical difficulty on Stephenie’s site and the Lexicon due to a MAJOR increase in volume on both sites. So please bear with us while we sort out the bugs. Also, just a reminder, you can help us keep our operating costs down and at the same time get really cool Edward, Jacob, and Bella inspired merchandise by shopping at the Cafepress Lexicon store. We make a small mark-up on the products, and this helps us to pay for our advertising free operating costs.

The podcast was awsome! You both made me realize I shouldn’t have been upset over the ending of Eclipse everything that happened for a reason and it all worked about and made the book so much better for me. Thanks!

It’s an audio recording that you can listen to on an IPOD or on your computer.

Yay! I’m so happy it’s here… But I can’t download it on my dad’s laptop, so I’ll have to wait until Thursday evening to listen to it..
It tells me to download it later because the site is down or something.
Oh well I guess I should try again later.
Umm…it won’t let me access any other page than the front page and this one. It keeps going to a screen that says something about a critical error, some letters and numbers, the words: Debug Mode, some more letters and numbers, etc…!! I can’t get anywhere on the site, message boards, or to the Forks-casts!
Since the podcast and the forum are not available I have time to explain what a podcast is to those who asked (see, technical problems are good for something).
A podcast is something like a selfmade radio show, but usually more specific. Like, this one’s about Twilight, other’s maybe be about a certain TV show, music, movies, local news, Mac computers, teaching you Spanish or just about someone’s personal life.
And I think they are called podcast because they are available in mp3 and can be downloaded and put on your iPod.

Eh, all the other pod-casts are there when i click, but the new one is not. Chances are I’m doing something wrong. Or it’s because I’m at work… I’ll try when i get home, I’m sure it will be awesome either way!

I’m having some trouble saving the forkcast… could it be because soo many people are trying to download it at once? I’ll try again later when there’s less people, but I think it might just be my computer, since no one else is having a problem.

you guys are so right about the ‘Carlisle breaking some type of law and the volturi acting to nice’ thing. what really won me over was the fact that Alec’s power will be found out in the next book, its going to be something really horrible, and most likely from an experience.

Perhaps it’s just me, but for me, it downloads in seconds (and I have DSL). Not only that, but I have trouble adding the file to iTunes, and it doesn’t play at all.. I hope this is being taken care of, because I would really like to listen to the latest Forks Cast!
