i would soooo go to the new jersy one…. but i have already made plans with friends to do this overnight thing at the beach… and i would cancle but um i kind of said i would go over like 2 months ago… and i didnt now that every one was going to have proms os i said yes!!

Only for Twilight will I give up my prejudices and go to that state up north. It’s just another example of Ms. Meyer’s work bringing people together.
OMG! I can’t believe it! I never thought I’d be able to go because it was so far away! But I live like hardly 2 hours away from this one! I love the world right now! I am so going!

Hey everyone, I’m glad that so many of you are planning to come! Just a reminder–you do not need a ticket, I’m paying for the expenses, so don’t worry, you won’t have to spend a dime!
And glockbell, it’s supposed to be getting sunny again within the next week, but if it rains, I wouldn’t be surprised. Even though Michigan isn’t the greatest state, I promise that you’ll have a great time
Ugh! I’m located in Minnesota! So close, but my parents would never justify driving a good four, five hours just for a party in honor of a book they don’t much like anyways.

soooooo, everyone who is comin from some place outside of michigan, fair warning- michigan weather is the most crazyest thing ever. u think it will be sunny (which it is, maybe it will last till next week) and then it rains. just 3 weeks ago it was snowing, then sunny, then raining, and now sunny again. if u are traveling, bring every sort of clothing u can, u never ever know.
‘hehe, just 2 hours away, and just a couple minutes away from my uncle and grandparents, awsome!!!!!!

this sucks its over a four hour drive from where i live and i cant spend that week end on the road becouse i have finles in all of my college classes the week after the prom so i’ll be studing that entire weekend *pout* i hope everyone that can go has an awsome time

Tinkerbelle27, yes, it is free. No tickets. So far, a little over 20 people have confirmed that they are coming. We’re providing food and music.
Also, a heads up for everyone, when you get there, go to the desk and ask for Laura Wright’s desk, she will point you in the right direction.
UGH! Just when I thought they couldn’t make plans for another one so far away, BAM! Grrr…I live in St. George, Utah, and the Phoenix prom is like 7 hours from my house already! (even if it seems pretty close, it isn’t.) And yesterday, I went to find the SE of New Moon and it wasn’t in ANY of all the bookstores in my hometown! Ugh! I hate being a Utahn! THIS SUCKS! *sigh…pout…grrr…*

i know what you mean but like stephenie said you can still have your own with some of your friends or by yourself at home. you know, play games, dress up like a charicter(even if your friends see it it still is fun), dress vintage, have some bella and edwad cupcakes. do wat ever.
i on the other hand can go to the michigan prom, thank god.
andi can’t find any book stores that have the special edition either, thats ok thogh cause i will be hearing it on saturday and i’ll buy one soon enogh.

Ohmigosh! I didn’t realize there was one in Michigan until today, and it happens to be in my home town! How awesome is that?! I mean, nothing happens in Portage, so I didn’t think we’d have one. Squee! This made my day!

For anyone who was curious, yes, it is formal. You don’t need to go out and buy a brand new dress though, any dress you have will be fine.
P.S. There is a Barnes&Noble around here that will have the New Moon Special Edition. So don’t fret. We will be reading it aloud also.
